Custom compounding
Medications made just for you, tailored to your specific health needs
Medications shaped around your needs
In some cases, a compounded medication may better suit a patient’s personal health profile. We understand that your patients have specific needs which may include:
Allergies to fillers or excipients
Requiring combination topical therapy
Specific dose strength or low-dose therapy
A change of dose form (e.g. change to a liquid or sublingual where a patient has swallowing difficulties)

FAQs
Everything you need to know about custom compounding
We can compound medications when the standard dose, concentration, or form of a commercially available product doesn't suit a patient's needs. Compounding in Australia is only permitted where a suitable commercial product doesn't already exist on the TGA register.
Please note that our lab specialises in non-sterile, non-hazardous compounding. If you’re unsure whether we can help with your specific needs, have a chat with Nik or one of our pharmacists before getting a prescription — we’d rather point you in the right direction from the start.
Yes, compounding requires a prescription. Once you have one, we can work with you and your doctor to find the best formulation for your needs.
Because each item is made by hand from raw ingredients, turnaround time may vary. Chat to Nik directly for an accurate timeframe for your specific compound.
